Focus Tips from Stephen Covey series

Checked out Stephen R. Covey & FranklinCovey Associates on Achieving Your Highest Priorities. Taking the keys from the CD and some of my favorite websites, here are the keynotes I have been reminded of.. Sometimes we get so busy with all the life events, that we are "living our values" by "responding to panic"... For this week, I choose to live my life more deliberately in focus of the good I can do with a little more planning.

What is your Personal Constitution? Mahatma Ghandi shared a personal mission statement/constitution that represented himself beautifully, but with applied, could have also changed the world.

What are your Governing Values Ben Franklin wrote his 13 Values with clarification on how he would balance living his life. Franklin Covey has tips on how to build a Mission and Values Statement

What are your Plan for Getting there? Plan 65% of your available time. What are your highest priorities to complete? Don't confuse frenetic motion with productive action.
  1. What are your Goals 1 hour a day time management focus on goals, values, and priorities that will direct you to improve quality productivity and satisfaction of work and relationships of body, mind, heart, and spirit. Sharpening the saw is a habit of creating activity around powerful goalsetting that gets you results.
  2. Weekly Plan? 20- 30 minutes once a week.. What is priority to avoid managing life by crisis
